Product Description

This photo is taken by moving around a coloured tree during the Autumn in Berlin, and is part of my long-term project “Around”.

Multiple subject's points of view are put together in a single image. Several segments of space and time collapse into a complex-layered unit, just like an entire movie that would have been taken by turning around the subject and fixated on one frame. More and more details emerge each time the eyes explore the various image layers. This leads to an enriched visual experience which gains a sort of third dimension.

I fell in love with this image since I’ve seen it. Wonderful colours and atmosphere! I like the concept which is behind as well, after all it’s not only a matter of aesthetics. Now it’s hanging on my wall at home and I can’t resist contemplating this beautiful tree each time I pass by. If I could have afforded it, I would have bought the bigger one.
